Interior Designer, Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Engage in conceptual design and offer comprehensive support throughout the project lifecycle.

• Oversee the management and development of junior Interior Designers.

• Collaborate with Project Managers, Architects, Engineers, and consultants.

• Formulate and advocate for the lead technical perspective on projects.

• Work in conjunction with the Director to determine suitable technical solutions and product strategies.

• Plan and design the interior design elements of large or multiple projects by creating suitable concepts and methodologies.

• Maintain communication with clients and external project team members to ensure effective project management.

• Provide expert knowledge on specific aspects of Interior Design.

• Ensure delivery of projects to clients on time and within budget.

• Achieve project profitability objectives.

• Aid in securing repeat business, garnering positive client feedback, and fostering team retention and growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from a CIDA accredited institution.

• Over 8 years of experience in the Interior Design field.

• NCIDQ Certification preferred or currently undergoing testing.

• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit (or 3D modeling tools).

• Familiarity with rendering software such as PhotoShop and SketchUp.

• Experience using scheduling software.

• Knowledge of specification software.

• Proficient in standard business software including MS Office, Adobe Suite, and Google Docs.

• Commitment to continuing education relevant to the position.

• A portfolio must be submitted with the application for consideration.

• Willingness to travel as needed, based on specific project requirements.
