Interim Data Protection Lawyer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Assist one of the firm's prominent TMT clients for a duration of 3 to 6 months.

• Offer data protection legal assistance as a junior Data Protection lawyer.

• Operate fully remotely, preferably on a full-time basis.

• Regularly engage with the sponsoring Partner and client team.

• Utilize the resources and Know-how provided by Simmons & Simmons during the assignment.

• Participate in training, development, networking events, webinars, and firmwide activities.

• Must be a qualified lawyer.

• Substantial experience in data protection matters.

• Some familiarity with AI issues is advantageous.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.

• Capability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

• Proficient at working swiftly and effectively under tight deadlines.

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workloads efficiently.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a broader team.

• Background screening is necessary; this may include a Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) certificate based on the position.
