Interim Corporate/Commercial Lawyer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Provide legal support to a pharmaceuticals client at Simmons & Simmons through corporate or commercial legal tasks.

• Collaborate as an Adaptive consultant alongside a sponsoring Partner and client team.

• Maintain regular engagement with the sponsoring Partner and client team.

• Utilize the firm's resources and Know-how during the assignment.

• Participate in training, professional development, networking events, webinars, and firmwide activities.

• Undertake a full-time, fully remote assignment anticipated to last 6 months.

⛳️ Requirements

• Junior to mid-level lawyer possessing corporate/M&A or commercial experience from a reputable private practice or in-house setting.

• Ideally, experience with due diligence is preferred.

• Experience in restructuring or liquidation is considered an advantage.

• Must be proactive and reliable.

• Accountable for the tasks undertaken while working remotely.

• A problem solver with a collaborative mindset.

• Capable of functioning in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

• Able to work promptly and effectively under tight deadlines.

• Competent in working independently while also collaborating as a part of the broader team.

• Must possess the relevant right to work in the UK.

• Visa sponsorship is not offered.

• Required to complete the employer's background screening process, which may involve a DBS certificate depending on the role.
