Integration & Database Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and create enterprise integrations utilizing Azure Integration Services and Java Spring Boot.

• Build RESTful APIs and microservices leveraging Java and Spring Boot.

• Create and configure APIs with Azure API Management (APIM).

• Apply synchronous and asynchronous integration patterns according to solution needs.

• Develop messaging and event-driven integrations using Azure Service Bus, including queues, topics, subscriptions, and associated Azure services.

• Establish integrations among enterprise applications, SaaS platforms, databases, external partners, and Microsoft Azure services.

• Execute message transformation, validation, routing, and orchestration, as well as exception handling and retry mechanisms.

• Create reusable integration components and services in line with enterprise integration standards.

• Enforce API authentication and authorization employing Microsoft Entra ID, OAuth 2.0, JWT, Managed Identities, and related security protocols.

• Safeguard application credentials, secrets, certificates, and connection details using Azure Key Vault.

• Implement logging, monitoring, distributed tracing, correlation IDs, and operational telemetry for integration services.

• Develop unit tests, automated API tests, and integration tests.

• Collaborate closely with the Integration Lead, Solution Architects, Business Analysts, Data Architects, and external vendors.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced/fluent English – essential.

• Over 8 years of experience in software development and enterprise integration.

• Strong practical development experience with Java and Spring Boot.

• Significant experience in developing REST APIs and microservices.

• Practical experience with Azure API Management (APIM).

• Familiarity with Azure Service Bus, including queues, topics, subscriptions, and message processing.

• Solid understanding of synchronous, asynchronous, messaging, and event-driven integration patterns.

• Proficient in JSON, REST, HTTP/HTTPS, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and API security.

• Experience in implementing exception handling, retry mechanisms, dead-letter processing, logging, and monitoring.

• Experience with additional Azure Integration Services, such as Logic Apps, Event Grid, Event Hubs, and Azure Functions.

• Proven experience integrating SaaS and enterprise platforms, including CRM, billing, payments, pricing, forecasting, and data platforms.

• Knowledge of Azure Key Vault, Managed Identities, and Microsoft Entra ID.

• Experience with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.

• Familiarity with Oracle and SQL databases, as well as database integrations.

• Experience in the Energy & Utilities or Retail Energy sectors.

• Understanding of customer information, billing, pricing, forecasting, payments, and energy market systems.
