Intake Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Promptly and efficiently reach out to new referrals, ideally within set response time goals.

• Assist families throughout the onboarding and intake process from the referral stage to service commencement.

• Deliver outstanding customer service and support during the entire intake experience.

• Ensure client records and documentation are accurate and comprehensive.

• Collaborate with staffing, scheduling, and case management teams to ensure effective onboarding.

• Monitor referral progress and guarantee that all intake requirements are fulfilled.

• Follow up with families regarding necessary documentation, appointments, and onboarding tasks.

• Uphold confidentiality and adhere to healthcare documentation standards.

• Assist with intake reporting and administrative processes.

• Strive to provide a positive experience for families while achieving productivity and performance benchmarks.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) is highly preferred.

• Previous experience in customer service, intake coordination, healthcare administration, client onboarding, or administrative support is preferred.

• Strong empathy and communication skills are essential.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills are required.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation is necessary.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment is required.

• Independent problem-solving abilities are essential.

• Capacity to manage multiple cases and priorities simultaneously is required.

• A professional and compassionate communication style is necessary.

• Proficiency in Spanish is preferred.

• Experience in healthcare, ABA services, behavioral health, or client-facing roles is preferred.

• Familiarity with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace is preferred.

• Ability to work independently in a remote setting is a must.

• A reliable internet connection and a suitable home office setup are required.
