This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Act as the initial point of contact for potential clients within the Immigration practice.

• Oversee the legal strategy of the Business Development team and ensure that intake information and retainer agreements adhere to firm protocols.

• Provide strategic legal consultations and case assessments in person, through virtual platforms, or via phone.

• Offer advice on immigration options, encompassing removal defense and family-based petitions.

• Analyze consultations, intake forms, and supporting documents to evaluate case viability.

• Determine eligibility and recommend suitable legal pathways.

• Relay case details and suggestions to Case Consultants.

• Clearly articulate complex immigration concepts and feasible legal strategies.

• Examine immigration filings and application packets for precision and legal adequacy.

• Formulate case strategies and prepare clients and witnesses for court and USCIS interviews.

• Execute legal research and case analysis to identify benefits, relief options, and risks.

• Compose, review, and submit legal briefs pertaining to immigration matters.

• Collaborate with the training team to enhance legal and subject matter training content.

• Work together with leadership to refine processes, improve client experience, and boost operational efficiency.

• Propel revenue performance within the intake function.

• Operate without a personal caseload.


⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree.

• Active bar license in good standing.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a must.

• 3 to 5 years of experience in Immigration Law, including litigation.

• Familiarity with Family-Based Petitions, Humanitarian cases, EOIR removal defense, Citizenship, and USCIS applications.

• Previous experience in criminal law is advantageous.

• Competent in conducting legal consultations, intake reviews, or case evaluations.

• Strong skills in legal analysis, issue identification, and decision-making.

• Proficient with CRM, case management software (CLIO), and virtual communication platforms.

• Excellent client focus and interpersonal abilities.

• Experience in a KPI-driven environment is essential.

• Demonstrated ability to contribute to revenue growth.

• Supervisory experience preferred.
