Insurance Finance Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Establish finance architecture that aligns with accounting, controls, reporting, and target-platform specifications.

• Convert finance and regulatory requirements into comprehensive solution designs.

• Ensure data flows, controls, and integration with the broader architecture landscape.

• Work collaboratively with business SMEs, security, data, engineering, and operations teams to assess options and document decisions.

• Evaluate and validate detailed designs for scalability, supportability, compliance, and alignment with the target architecture.

• Assist in governance and design assurance activities throughout finance transformation initiatives.

• Develop finance architecture for a significant long-term savings and retirement provider.

• Shape the target-state design and guarantee that solutions are appropriate, compliant, and prepared for the future.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong expertise in finance architecture within financial services or a highly regulated environment.

• Profound knowledge of accounting, controls, and reporting requirements.

• Experience in translating business and regulatory needs into solution architecture and detailed design.

• Demonstrated capability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, including business, technology, security, data, and operations.

• Proven experience in ensuring end-to-end solutions for scalability, compliance, and operational supportability.

• High attention to detail.

• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Ability to balance business needs, regulatory requirements, and technical constraints.

• Comfort working in complex, enterprise-scale environments.

• Availability through January 2027.
