Insurance Compliance Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Facilitate education and examinations for pre-licensure

• Complete and submit applications for licenses as well as renewals

• Process changes in resident state and reconcile licenses between previous and new states of residence

• Manage updates to colleague contact information with state authorities and the record-keeping system

• Monitor reportable actions for Producers and Adjusters

• Submit and track agency affiliations for both business entities and individual producers

• Process updates and modifications for Designated Responsible Licensed Producers (DRLP)

• Oversee continuing education requirements and facilitate access to the continuing education vendor

• Manage the licensing for business entities, including applications, renewals, lines of authority, and affiliations across various states

• Maintain registrations and filings with the Secretary of State, ensuring good standing status and completing annual reports

• Update licensing information in the Licensing System of Record

• Generate and distribute licensing reports for leadership, audit, and operational needs

• Assist with projects related to licensing

• Engage in the development and improvement of processes

• Conduct internal audits of licensing records to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies

• Act as a point of contact for licensing-related inquiries from colleagues, carriers, and regulatory bodies

• Provide advice on licensing requirements and state-specific considerations

• Prepare documentation and respond to audits or inquiries from the state Department of Insurance
