This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +26 more states.
• Create and develop both instructor-led and computer-based training materials utilizing adult learning principles and instructional design techniques.
• Design, create, or curate course materials, which may include participant workbooks, facilitator guides, PowerPoint presentations, classroom activities, job aids, eLearning scripts, business process documentation, and evaluation tools.
• Assist with various projects by adhering to project timelines and deliverables, supporting the development of project plans, and providing updates on project progress.
• Engage in instructional analysis to identify necessary knowledge, skills, attitudes, competencies, and any gaps in learning or documentation.
• Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of materials, focusing on instructional usability, student learning outcomes, knowledge retention, and overall satisfaction.
• Work collaboratively with the team to formulate performance and behavioral objectives and identify suitable learning solutions.
• Analyze learning contexts and apply relevant learning theories and design principles.
• Create criterion-based assessments and performance metrics.
• Partner with internal business stakeholders to develop training materials or business process documentation.
• Conduct interviews with subject matter experts and perform research to produce instructional content.
• Carry out additional duties as required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in curriculum development, education, organizational development, instructional design, or technical writing, or four years of relevant work experience (Required).
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in writing business process documentation, designing instructor-led and web-based curricula, including scripts and facilitator guides, conducting business needs analyses, and familiarity with Camtasia and Articulate Storyline software (Required).
• Industry certifications in instructional design, curriculum development, technical writing, or content-specific certifications, as relevant (Preferred).
• Experience with the architecture and deployment of learning management systems (LMS) in a corporate training setting (Preferred).
• Strong keyboarding skills and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively both in-person and over the phone.
