Inside Loan Originator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Develop a presence for CCM by converting incoming leads.

• Assess current rates and programs to deliver precise and timely information to borrowers.

• Negotiate terms and conditions with clients.

• Engage in all phases of mortgage loan origination, which includes meeting potential clients, advising borrowers, and processing mortgage applications via phone.

• Oversee personal pipeline to achieve service standards and financial targets.

• Familiarize yourself with borrowing programs and procedures while keeping updated on changes and new offerings.

• Learn and apply in-house technical systems and programs.

• Review credit requests and identify trends within the marketplace.

• Adhere to relevant federal and state compliance regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 1 year of sales or origination experience in a consumer direct or call center setting.

• Proven experience in collecting and analyzing borrower income.

• Strong negotiation skills.

• Experience in proactively seeking new business opportunities.

• Familiarity with retail product philosophy, policies, underwriting, procedures, documentation, and systems.

• Preferred experience in converting leads and handling inbound calls.

• NMLS License compliant with the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 is a plus.

• State License compliant with the SAFE Act is a plus.

• Exceptional analytical skills.

• Outstanding communication and collaboration abilities.

• Proficient in standard software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as necessary.
