This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +4 more states.
β’ Conduct investigations on basic and, at times, moderately complex auto insurance claims.
β’ Manage claims that are not represented by legal counsel.
β’ Assess coverage, determine liability, and evaluate damages.
β’ Negotiate and resolve claims in accordance with established guidelines and best practices.
β’ Interact directly with claimants, insured individuals, and other relevant parties.
β’ Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and company policies throughout the claims process.
β’ Investigate minor to moderately complex auto accidents and compile claim summaries.
β’ Conduct recorded interviews with claimants, insured parties, and witnesses.
β’ Maintain comprehensive claim files, detailed notes, summaries, and decision-making rationales.
β’ Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient and customer-focused claims handling.
β’ Complete training sessions from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:45 PM; work hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with occasional rotational Saturdays.
β’ Candidates must be residents of NY, NC, SC, PA, NJ, or DE at the time of hiring.
β’ A minimum of 2 years of prior experience in claims handling is preferred.
β’ Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
β’ Proven dedication to providing outstanding customer service.
β’ Capability to juggle multiple tasks and effectively prioritize in a fast-paced setting.
β’ Strong attention to detail.
β’ Critical thinking and decision-making competencies.
β’ Comfortable utilizing technology and learning claims-related software and tools.
β’ Required to obtain all necessary adjuster licenses within 60 days of employment.
β’ Must maintain all licenses required for the position, including completing continuing education and fulfilling state-specific renewal needs.
β’ A dedicated workspace that is free from distractions.
β’ Minimum internet speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload are required.
β’ An appropriate work surface and seating arrangement is necessary.
β’ Subject to a background check.

β’ This position is not available for residents of California, Alaska, Washington, and Hawaii.
β’ A $1,000 sign-on bonus for candidates with an active adjuster license in TX, FL, or their state of residence.
