Auto Claims Adjuster – South Zone

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Investigate fundamental and occasionally moderately intricate auto insurance claims

• Manage claims that are not represented by legal counsel

• Assess coverage, establish liability, and evaluate damages

• Negotiate and resolve claims in accordance with established guidelines and best practices

• Engage directly with claimants, insured individuals, witnesses, and other relevant parties

• Conduct recorded interviews with claimants

• Create clear and concise summaries of claims

• Maintain comprehensive claim files, notes, summaries, and reasoning behind decisions

• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and company policies throughout the claims process

• Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate efficient and customer-focused claims handling

• Complete training from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:45 PM

• Work Monday to Friday during operating hours of 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with occasional Saturday rotations

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in LA, TX, AR, FL, GA, AL, or MS at the time of hiring

• Minimum of 2 years of prior experience in claims handling is preferred

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong dedication to outstanding customer service

• Capability to juggle multiple tasks, prioritize efficiently, and thrive in a fast-paced setting

• Keen attention to detail with robust critical-thinking and decision-making abilities

• Comfortable utilizing technology and learning claims-related software and tools

• Required to obtain all necessary adjuster licenses within 60 days of hire

• Must keep all required licenses updated, including ongoing education and state renewal obligations

• This position is not available to residents of California, Alaska, Washington, or Hawaii

• A dedicated home workspace that is free from distractions is essential

• Minimum internet speed of 50 MB download / 5 MB upload is required

• Suitable work surface and seating arrangements are necessary

• Must agree to undergo a background check
