Ingeniero/a de Datos Jr. – Analista de Datos

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to integrate data from SAP, AWS S3, APIs, flat files, and databases into Snowflake.

• Implement integration and automation processes using Apache Airflow, AppFlow, or similar tools.

• Design and maintain scalable data models focused on analysis.

• Perform data cleaning, validation, and transformation using Python and SQL.

• Develop and optimize SQL queries in Snowflake.

• Automate workflows and identify opportunities for improvement in integration processes.

• Ensure the quality, integrity, and consistency of the processed data.

• Document pipelines, transformations, and implemented processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, or related fields.

• At least 1 year of experience in data engineering, data integration, or similar roles.

• Hands-on experience working with Apache Airflow, preferably in AWS environments.

• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data processing and transformation.

• Experience in developing ETL/ELT pipelines.

• Knowledge of Snowflake and both relational and non-relational databases.

• Understanding of data modeling for analytical environments (star schema, snowflake schema, Data Vault, or others).

• Familiarity with best practices in data security, privacy, and quality.

• Ability to work with large volumes of data and resolve processing issues.

• Experience with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, RDS, and Glue.

• Knowledge of data analysis techniques, quality control, and outlier detection.

• Proficient in Git and GitHub for version control.

• Experience in optimizing queries and data integration processes.
