This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Contribute to the maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of both sold and existing medical equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance services.
• Manage maintenance facilities and field service engineering.
• Conduct repairs and service activities related to the inspection of installed fleets.
• Oversee the construction and commissioning of new and existing equipment at the customer site.
• Execute on-site machining, non-destructive testing, grinding, winding, critical welding, and generator diagnostics.
• Make engineering decisions when appropriate.
• Resolve issues according to established procedures and consult the supervisor for matters outside defined parameters.
• Collaborate with others to address problems.
• Build strong relationships with customers and act as a liaison between the customer and GE.
• Exchange technical information, ask questions, and verify understanding.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field (mandatory).
• Conversational English proficiency.
• A minimum of two years of experience as a Field Engineer.
• Experience with medical devices.
• Willingness to travel within Mexico.
• Valid passport and visa for the United States.
• Driver's license.
