Field Service Technician II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Conduct customer installations, maintenance, and service calls promptly and efficiently.

• Repair and service electromechanical devices, including ATMs and self-checkout systems, within a designated territory.

• Execute scheduled maintenance, corrective repairs, and comprehensive system overhauls.

• Identify and resolve issues related to hardware, software, networking, and system configurations.

• Oversee network faults, system access, security settings, and remote connectivity solutions.

• Organize and prioritize customer concerns, proactively addressing issues whenever possible.

• Engage with customers in a transparent, supportive, and professional manner with a focus on resolution.

• Participate in both virtual and practical training programs offered by NCR Atleos.

• Adhere to NCR Atleos policies, including Shared Values, Code of Conduct, health and safety standards, accurate timekeeping, and safe driving practices.

• Undertake additional related duties as required by qualifications and business needs.

• May be reassigned to neighboring service territories during regular shifts to address operational requirements.

• May choose to participate in overnight travel assignments to enhance service coverage.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a local candidate within the specified geographic area.

• Authorized to work in the United States.

• At least 19 years old.

• Possess a valid driver's license and a driving record compliant with NCR Atleos fleet standards.

• Proficient in PC skills, basic electronic knowledge, and familiarity with operating systems.

• Capable of performing essential job functions without reasonable accommodation, including extended travel with several hours of driving daily; rotating and weekend shifts; lifting and carrying tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. unaided; bending, squatting, walking, standing, sitting, reaching, and repetitive hand movements with various sized objects.

• Knowledgeable in large servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software.

• Holds A+ Certification, CompTIA, or Network+ (N+) Certification.

• One (1) or more years of relevant experience.
