Infrastructure Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Design and evaluate network architecture.

• Enhance the CI/CD pipeline for security.

• Assess and strengthen both physical and virtual infrastructure.

• Collaborate as a member of the information security team.

• Work closely with developers to strategize and implement security-related modifications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with Terraform and Ansible, adopting a security-first approach.

• Demonstrated capability to review and secure Infrastructure-as-Code, pinpoint misconfigurations, enforce least privilege, and manage secure states in AWS infrastructure.

• Knowledge of security configuration scanning tools like Checkov and Trivy.

• Practical experience in securing CI/CD pipelines.

• Background in designing or evaluating secure network flow architectures.

• Strong understanding of AWS IAM models, secrets management, and least-privilege design principles.

• Proficient knowledge of Linux and its networking stack.

• Blue team-oriented mindset with a focus on defensive security hardening.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with development teams to resolve pipeline and infrastructure challenges without hindering delivery.

• Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in mid or senior-level roles.
