Infrastructure Operations Engineer – SRE

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +3 more locations.

📋 Description

• Oversee the availability, performance, and capacity of infrastructure across servers, compute clusters, and associated systems.

• Analyze alerts and anomalies as they arise.

• Assess severity and impact to triage incidents effectively.

• Collect diagnostic information, escalate issues to relevant engineering teams, and monitor incidents until they are resolved.

• Create, maintain, and implement operational runbooks for troubleshooting, incident management, system recovery, and regular maintenance tasks.

• Enhance monitoring, dashboards, and alerting systems to boost infrastructure visibility, minimize alert noise, and identify potential failures sooner.

• Examine recurring incidents and operational weaknesses.

• Work together with infrastructure and engineering teams to identify root causes, refine recovery procedures, and prevent recurring issues.

• Provide support for the infrastructure behind cutting-edge AI compute platforms.

• Collaborate to enhance operational maturity, incident response, and the reliability of scalable AI compute infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in SRE, infrastructure operations, systems administration, production support, or a related technical operations position.

• Proficiency in working with Linux systems and server infrastructures.

• Excellent troubleshooting abilities and a systematic approach to investigating unfamiliar challenges.

• Knowledge of monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and system health metrics.

• Ability to differentiate between actionable incidents and normal fluctuations.

• Experience in maintaining technical documentation, operational procedures, and troubleshooting runbooks.

• Strong communication and collaborative problem-solving skills.

• Capability to take ownership of problems, follow through on escalations, and enhance reliability.

• Must be eligible to access U.S. export-controlled technology, which may include citizenship/permanent residency status or prior license approval when required.
