Infrastructure & Network Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia.

📋 Description

• Implement and maintain Azure and on-premises infrastructure, including hybrid and multi-cloud integrations.

• Spearhead cloud migration efforts in accordance with approved designs and change management protocols.

• Develop infrastructure as code using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines for automated and dependable deployments.

• Provide secure and scalable network infrastructure across both cloud and on-premises settings.

• Manage and support Microsoft 365 services effectively.

• Monitor, diagnose, and resolve infrastructure, network, and service challenges in alignment with agreed SLAs.

• Take ownership of patching, hardening, secure configuration, and vulnerability remediation processes.

• Investigate security alerts and assist in incident response, recovery, and root cause analysis.

• Guide colleagues and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as an Infrastructure/Network Engineer in enterprise settings.

• Proficient in Azure, including compute, networking (VNet, NSGs, Load Balancer, ExpressRoute, Gateways), and hybrid/on-premises solutions.

• Experience with Azure DevOps / CI/CD, Terraform (Infrastructure as Code), and scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python).

• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN, WAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP).

• Familiarity with Active Directory, M365 (Intune), Azure AD, and ITIL-aligned service management practices.

• Experience in incident response, SLAs, patching, hardening, and vulnerability management.

• Knowledge of VMWare/Hyper-V platforms.

• Understanding of ISO 27001, GDPR, NIS2, and CIS standards.

• Exceptional English communication skills with a collaborative and mentoring approach.

• Preferred but not essential: Familiarity with Fortinet (FortiGate SD-WAN, Firewalls, FortiManager).

• Preferred but not essential: Knowledge of the Azure Well-Architected Framework and experience in migrating from on-premises to Azure.

• Preferred but not essential: Experience supporting environments certified under ISO 27001.

• Certifications are preferred but not mandatory: Azure Administrator, Microsoft Admin-level certifications, ITIL Foundation+, Fortinet NSE.
