Infrastructure Engineer Consultant – AVD

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with teams in solutions engineering, infrastructure operations, and infrastructure service management.

• Create and implement infrastructure solutions and blueprints for the designated area of responsibility.

• Develop repeatable patterns (build-kits) to enhance deployment efficiency for both non-production and production environments.

• Transfer knowledge to the infrastructure operations team.

• Execute other reasonably related tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of experience in Information Technology or relevant experience, OR Technical Certification and/or College Courses with 7 years of Information Technology experience, OR 9 years of Information Technology experience.

• Proficiency in Infrastructure Automation.

• Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).

• Knowledge of Operations Management.

• Familiarity with ITIL v3.

• Understanding of IT standards, procedures, and policies.

• Capability to simplify and standardize complex concepts and processes.

• Awareness of business priorities, industry trends, and market dynamics.

• Strong oral and written communication skills.

• Effective problem-solving and analytical abilities.

• Experience in supplier management.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and make trade-off decisions.

• Competence in cross-functional execution.

• Flexibility and the ability to introduce and manage change.

• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

• Organized and detail-oriented.

• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field.

• Preferred: Experience with Citrix.

• Preferred: Knowledge of Nerdio.

• This position may be performed remotely from anywhere within the continental United States, excluding California, New York, Alaska, and Hawaii.
