Information Security and Governance Analyst, Mid-Level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee and assist with both internal and external audit processes.

• Act as a connector between business, technology, and security departments.

• Aid in the management of corporate, cybersecurity, and third-party risks.

• Create, evaluate, and uphold policies, standards, and procedures.

• Oversee document governance and controls for the ISMS (Information Security Management System).

• Respond to customer evaluations and gather compliance documentation.

• Drive Information Security awareness programs.

• Assist in business continuity and disaster recovery efforts.

• Collaborate with Monkey’s SecGov team to ensure adherence to security and governance best practices, and maintain controls, policies, and processes in line with ISO 27001 and SOC 2.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), Information Security, Corporate Risk, or Auditing.

• Background in environments that are audited and certified.

• Familiarity with ISO 27001, SOC 2, ISO 22301, NIST CSF, COBIT, or similar frameworks.

• Experience with conducting internal and external audits.

• Understanding of risk management, third-party risk, and compliance matters.

• Excellent technical writing abilities for crafting and maintaining governance documents and addressing assessments.

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in English.

• Prior experience in auditing (internal, external, or consulting), especially in process audits.

• Technical expertise in fields such as infrastructure, cloud, development, or operations.

• Relevant certifications in Information Security, Risk, or Auditing, such as ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer, CISA, or CRISC.
