Senior Network Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Honduras.

📋 Description

• Create, redesign, and implement connectivity, security, delivery, and monitoring services for virtual networks, including VPN, NAT gateways, DNS, load balancers, web application firewalls, and application gateways.

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based network solutions utilizing Azure, GCP, and AWS.

• Develop and execute strategies for smooth cloud integration, encompassing hybrid cloud environments.

• Design and implement BGP routing policies to optimize path selection and traffic management.

• Refine architecture, configuration standards, and protocols in collaboration with Infrastructure and Security teams.

• Create, design, and implement network roadmaps, architecture, standards, and governance frameworks.

• Monitor network performance, proactively identify and resolve issues.

• Enhance and automate solutions and support activities related to Perimeter Defense.

• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure uninterrupted network operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in designing, deploying, maintaining, and enhancing on-premises and cloud networks.

• Familiarity with cloud networking technologies, such as VNETs, ExpressRoute, User Defined Routes, Network Security Groups, Load Balancers, Application Gateways, DNS, Route Servers, and Network Managers.

• Skilled in configuring and managing Cisco Switches and HPE Switches.

• Strong background in TCP/IP, STP, HSRP, NAT, QoS, SNMP, and SYSLOG.

• Expertise in routing technologies, particularly BGP.

• Understanding of ITIL and change management processes.

• Highly motivated self-starter capable of meeting the demands of a challenging business and IT environment.
