This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
• Provide support and carry out tasks related to customer needs by utilizing field best practices.
• Represent the organization with integrity and professionalism while working autonomously.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality sales and workmanship.
• Engage in on-site sales and gear assessments.
• Effectively communicate products and gear inspection services to clients.
• Develop and sustain customer relationships while understanding their needs.
• Reach out to existing customers and conduct cold calls to potential clients.
• Visit prospects and customers in person, generate leads and quotes, and pursue sales opportunities.
• Provide field services and customer assistance.
• Diagnose errors or technical issues and suggest appropriate, cost-effective solutions.
• Manage on-site projects in alignment with the established schedule.
• Collaborate with the technical team and share relevant information with the company.
• Offer regular updates on progress, challenges, and opportunities to the PTS.
• Maintain customer records and track business opportunities.
• Exceptional organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Participate in on-site sales and gear inspections.
• Acquire technical knowledge to effectively communicate products and gear inspection services.
• Establish and nurture customer relationships.
• Maintain customer contact and initiate cold calls.
• Create, submit, and follow up on quotes and requests for quotations (RFQs).
• Document and monitor business opportunities.
• Keep accurate customer records in the database.
• Possess technological skills suited for today's business environment.
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time.
• Organize monthly itineraries using both wall and Outlook calendars.
• Submit daily briefs and weekly reports.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Ability to safely ascend and descend ladders.
• Provide field services and customer support.
• Manage on-site projects with minimal supervision.
• Diagnose technical issues and determine cost-effective solutions.
• Adhere to timekeeping and billing protocols.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Ensure safe operation of a vehicle.
• High school diploma, trade school, or college degree; relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the paper industry.
• Ability to follow directions with limited supervision.
• Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good sense of smell, hearing, and vision for safety purposes.
• Capacity to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Excellent driving record.
• Ability to cover the southeastern US territory.
• Must adhere to required working hours and follow company policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Uncapped commissions.
