Industrial and Energy Alliance Relationship Director

📋 Description

• Implement the strategy and objectives of the Microsoft Industrial & Energy alliance in accordance with the priorities of Microsoft Global Alliance and EY’s growth agenda in the Industrial & Energy sector.

• Foster relationships with senior leaders at Microsoft and EY within the Industrial & Energy sector, while managing related programs.

• Activate strategic sector opportunities, enhance field engagement, and drive actionable initiatives.

• Ensure governance and accountability across global service lines, practices, sectors, key accounts, regions, and Microsoft partners.

• Deliver insights on pipeline, performance, account activation, and market trends to Microsoft Alliance executives and EY Industrial & Energy leadership.

• Identify, develop, and promote Microsoft priority solutions and partner programs in the Industrial & Energy sector.

• Provide financial reporting, intelligence on Microsoft impact and influence, visibility into sector pipeline, and insights for account activation.

• Recognize and activate key Industrial & Energy accounts, supporting business plans, executive relationship mapping, and operational cadence.

• Facilitate alliance contracts when necessary.

• Ensure compliance with internal policies, independence requirements, alliance governance, and commercial standards.

• Create sector-specific messaging, sales materials, and campaign content in collaboration with the Enablement and Brand, Marketing, and Communications teams.

• Carry out alliance marketing and enablement initiatives with regional alliance, sector, account, and BMC leaders.

• Share content, knowledge, market insights, and best practices within the Global Alliance and Ecosystem Relationship network.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven leadership in relationship management, governance oversight, marketing strategy, contract management, financial stewardship, content management, and operational support.

• Extensive expertise in the Industrial & Energy sector, including Advanced Manufacturing, Industrial Products, Energy, Power & Utilities, Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Mining & Metals, Aerospace & Defense, and Mobility.

• In-depth understanding of market dynamics, regulatory frameworks, sustainability, supply chain, data analytics, AI, and technological trends.

• Strong familiarity with the Microsoft ecosystem, encompassing Azure, Data & AI, Security, Business Applications, and Copilot.

• Capacity to convert Industrial & Energy client priorities into Microsoft-enabled alliance strategies, joint go-to-market initiatives, pipeline acceleration, and priority account activation.

• Background in alliance management, business development, go-to-market execution, or sector-driven growth within a technology or professional services context.

• Proven success in building and nurturing alliance partnerships.

• Demonstrated track record in achieving alliance sales, pipeline activation, and revenue goals.

• Exceptional organizational and project management abilities.

• Preferred experience working across regions in a global alliance, partner, or ecosystem-driven sales framework.

• Preferred experience in the Industrial & Energy sector.

• Relevant Microsoft or enterprise technology certifications are advantageous.

• Ability to work autonomously while effectively communicating progress and challenges.

• Capacity to escalate complex issues with actionable recommendations to leadership.

• Skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Ability to adapt to various personalities, cultures, and working styles.
