This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Establish strong relationships with clients, comprehend their objectives, and provide customized financial solutions.
• Cultivate and enhance a profitable and sustainable client portfolio through prospecting, networking, referrals, and engaging with the community.
• Offer personalized, advice-driven insurance and wealth solutions.
• Uphold the Co-operators brand with professionalism and enhance its reputation within the communities served.
• Manage an independent advisory practice under the Co-operators name.
• Exclusively distribute Co-operators products under the independent contractor agreement.
• Continuously enhance knowledge in insurance, wealth solutions, and market trends.
• Independently manage time, priorities, and the sales pipeline.
• Complete necessary background, credit, and eligibility checks.
• Valid Insurance of person license in Quebec, or a commitment to obtain it.
• Adherence to ongoing licensing and continuing education requirements.
• Experience in financial services, insurance, banking, or advice-driven sales environments.
• Experience in managing a business.
• Background in wealth management, B2B sales, account management, or business development.
• Experience in advisory or relationship management roles that involve client interaction.
• Proficiency in both French and English, in spoken and written forms.
• Capability to build trustworthy relationships and translate them into sustainable business growth.
• Skills in sales and business development, including prospecting and networking.
• Strong communication skills, characterized by clarity and confidence, along with excellent organizational abilities.
• Demonstrated discipline in follow-through, resilience, accountability, and self-motivation.
• Ability to undertake thorough background, credit, and eligibility checks.
