Independent Consultant – Phase I Environmental Site Assessments

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Perform site visits, conduct interviews, and capture representative photographs.

• Carry out municipal research.

• Develop Phase I Environmental Site Assessments in line with ASTM Phase I standards as well as local, state, and federal regulations.

• Recognize Environmental Conditions and other environmental issues.

• Draft report text and appendices, which include photo logs, figures, and maps.

• Oversee multiple projects and adhere to deadlines.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in completing and/or managing ESAs.

• A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, geology, environmental science, or a related field.

• Familiarity with ASTM Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and/or NEPA is preferred.

• Excellent technical writing abilities and strong attention to detail.

• Capability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.

• Proficient in using Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Experience with Quire and Parcel is preferred.

• Personal equipment must include a digital camera, cell phone, computer, and Microsoft Office software.

• Prior experience with Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, HUD, and other specialized project scopes is preferred.
