This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Lead professional development initiatives for teachers, instructional coaches, and school, district, or state leaders.

• Tailor Blue Engine content to fit partner contexts while upholding learning objectives and integrity.

• Prepare, align, and engage in reflective practices with the Blue Engine project team.

• Deliver personalized or group instructional coaching sessions.

• Assist educators in leveraging data, high-quality instructional resources, and inclusive strategies to enhance access to grade-level learning.

• Carry out observations, learning walks, and implementation assessments; identify strengths, challenges, and subsequent steps with partners.

• Provide guidance on instructional enhancement, implementation strategies, leadership development, and systemic change.

• Facilitate strategic planning with school, district, and state leadership.

• Bring specialized knowledge to research, program or product development, partnerships, proposals, pilot programs, and strategic initiatives.

• Deliver agreed-upon services and outputs in accordance with project milestones and quality expectations.

• Engage in project-specific preparation, delivery, documentation, follow-up, collaboration, and reflection.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant professional experience in K–12 education, educator development, and/or instructional enhancement.

• Profound expertise in at least one of the following areas: implementation and adaptation of high-quality instructional materials; specially designed instruction and support for students with disabilities; multilingual learner instruction and language development; inclusive Tier 1 instruction and designing for learner variability; multi-tiered systems of support and curriculum-aligned intervention; co-teaching and educator collaboration; or district- or state-level implementation and systems change.

• Proven track record of delivering high-quality work and achieving measurable impact on student outcomes, educator practices, organizational capacity, and/or student experiences.

• Experience collaborating with schools, districts, state education agencies, or charter networks.

• Capacity to cultivate trusting and productive relationships with stakeholders from diverse roles, backgrounds, and identities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills tailored to various audiences and contexts.

• Ability to operate independently, manage deliverables and timelines, and proactively communicate about progress or challenges.

• Openness to feedback and a commitment to participating in collaborative design, preparation, calibration, and reflection processes.

• Alignment with Blue Engine’s mission and dedication to increasing access to grade-level learning for historically marginalized students.

• Depending on the engagement: experience in facilitating adult learning in virtual and in-person settings; experience coaching teachers, instructional coaches, school leaders, or system leaders; knowledge in specific curricula, content areas, student populations, or geographic regions; availability for in-person work or travel in a designated area.
