This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Educate and assist prospective Trupanion customers through inbound warm leads, phone calls, and emails.
• Establish trust and rapport with pet parents by employing a consultative approach.
• Assess customer needs and suggest suitable coverage options.
• Articulate the value and advantages of Trupanion pet insurance coverage.
• Implement call control, active listening, and objection handling throughout the sales process.
• Address customer concerns and navigate sensitive conversations with empathy and professionalism.
• Assist customers in the enrollment process.
• Handle high volumes of inbound calls while maintaining a focus on customer experience, efficiency, productivity, and sales objectives.
• Adapt to changing responsibilities, processes, and workflows with ownership and flexibility.
• Utilize multiple systems and tools effectively.
• Manage time efficiently while paying attention to detail and maintaining productivity.
• Record customer interactions and keep detailed CRM records.
• Troubleshoot common technical issues and adapt to new tools or system updates.
• A minimum of 2 years of successful sales experience in a high-volume business-to-customer sales or inbound call center environment.
• At least 1 year of experience in a customer service position.
• Demonstrated history of meeting or surpassing individual sales targets, productivity standards, and performance metrics.
• Capability to quickly establish genuine rapport, overcome objections, and guide customers through the sales process using a consultative method.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience managing high-volume inbound customer interactions.
• Demonstrated ownership, adaptability, and resilience in a metrics-driven, fast-paced setting.
• Proficient in navigating multiple digital platforms and documenting customer interactions in CRM systems.
• Ability to identify customer needs and propose tailored solutions.
• Self-motivated with strong time management skills and the ability to maintain productivity while working remotely.
• Strong technical troubleshooting abilities and comfort using technology independently.
• Experience working remotely in a private setting equipped with reliable hard-wired internet and a distraction-free home-office environment.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain active Property and Casualty (P&C) licensing in all 50 states and applicable jurisdictions, including assigned Canadian Provinces.
• Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
• Availability for evening and weekend shifts is required.
• Reliable and stable internet connection via hard-wired Ethernet; wireless, satellite, and mobile hotspots are not permitted.
