In-House Litigation Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Collaborate directly with the CEO as the sole internal legal advisor for LogicManager.

• Transform business goals and factual information into well-researched arguments, pleadings, and motions.

• Draft and submit court documents.

• Oversee deadlines and service requirements.

• Represent LogicManager in proceedings where authorized and licensed to appear.

• Review records to pinpoint gaps or inconsistencies.

• Anticipate counterarguments and prepare for judicial inquiries.

• Clarify recommendations, necessary modifications, and associated legal risks.

• Reach consensus on significant alterations to the legal strategy prior to execution.

• Ensure follow-through on agreed-upon next steps while upholding accuracy, confidentiality, and professional responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active membership in the Massachusetts Bar in good standing.

• Excellent reasoning, legal research, writing, and oral advocacy capabilities.

• Resourcefulness, composure, and the courage to challenge positions using evidence and legal principles.

• Commitment to preparation, precision, deadlines, and the work necessary to advance matters.

• Proficiency in analyzing evidence, crafting persuasive arguments, addressing inquiries, and adjusting as new information becomes available.

• Newly qualified attorneys and those transitioning careers are encouraged to apply.

• Prior experience in litigation is not mandatory.
