In-Home Traveler Physician, Full Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wyoming.

📋 Description

• Conduct in-home health assessments within the residences of members.

• Interact with individuals to help bridge gaps in their healthcare.

• Travel extensively, up to 100% of the time, within a designated coverage area.

• Perform approximately 45-minute appointments.

• Review patients' medications and medical histories.

• Carry out physical examinations.

• Execute additional diagnostic tests as directed by the health plan, such as diabetic eye exams and spirometry.

• Utilize an iPad and clinical workflow for all evaluations.

• Conduct virtual consultations when necessary.

• Provide diagnostic and preventive services, including spirometry, diabetic eye exams, and bone density screenings.

• Establish trusting relationships to enhance health outcomes.

• Travel nationwide to connect individuals with appropriate healthcare services.

• Engage in local travel and within licensed states.

• Work within the private homes of members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess an active, unrestricted license(s) in the relevant coverage area(s).

• Capable of obtaining and maintaining multi-state licenses in the coverage area, as necessary.

• Hold an MD or DO degree.

• Availability for full-time work, with an expectation of 40 hours per week.

• Able to travel locally and within licensed states.

• Willing to travel up to 100% of the time across a defined coverage area.

• Capable of performing duties safely in homes that may have household pets, secondhand smoke, airborne allergens, or irritants.

• Proficient in using an iPad and intuitive clinical workflow.

• Must meet the qualifications of the specified clinician role.
