In-Home Traveler Physician, Full Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Conduct health evaluations in the homes of members.

• Interact individually with clients to help close care gaps.

• Assess medications and review medical histories.

• Execute physical examinations.

• Carry out additional diagnostic tests as prescribed by the health plan, including diabetic eye exams, spirometry, and bone density assessments.

• Utilize an iPad and follow a clinical workflow for each assessment.

• Perform virtual visits when necessary.

• Deliver Signify Health services, including Diagnostic & Preventive Services products.

• Travel locally and within licensed states.

• Establish trusted relationships and connect individuals to suitable care.

• Provide services to individuals nationwide within a specified coverage area.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess an active, unrestricted license(s) in the relevant coverage area(s).

• Able to acquire and maintain multi-state licenses in the coverage area as necessary.

• Hold an MD or DO degree.

• Must be capable of comfortably and safely performing duties in homes that may have household pets, secondhand smoke, and other potential airborne allergens or irritants.

• Willingness to travel locally and within licensed states.

• Ability to travel up to 100% of the time throughout a defined coverage area.

• Capacity to manage overnight hotel stays, car rentals, and/or flights as required.

• Competence in conducting virtual visits when needed.
