In-Home Traveler Physician, Full Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Dakota.

📋 Description

• Conduct health assessments within the homes of members.

• Interact with individuals on a personal level to help address gaps in care.

• Evaluate medications and review medical histories.

• Execute physical assessments.

• Carry out additional diagnostic tests as needed, such as diabetic eye examinations, spirometry, and bone density screenings.

• Utilize an iPad and follow clinical workflows for each assessment.

• Perform virtual consultations as necessary.

• Deliver Signify Health services, which include Diagnostic & Preventive Services products.

• Travel locally and within the states where licensed.

• Establish trusted relationships while promoting better health outcomes.

• Make referrals to health plans and encourage involvement from members’ families.

• Keep primary care physicians informed about members’ health and quality of life.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess an active, unrestricted license(s) in the relevant coverage area(s).

• Capable of acquiring and maintaining multi-state licenses in required coverage areas.

• Hold an MD or DO degree.

• Willingness to travel locally and within licensed states.

• Comfortable and safe performing duties in homes that may have pets, secondhand smoke, and other potential airborne allergens or irritants.

• Extensive travel of up to 100% within a specified coverage area.

• Overnight stays in hotels, car rentals, and/or flights may be necessary.

• Expected weekly hours: 40.
