In-home Traveler Physician – Full-time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive In-Home Health Evaluations in the residences of members.

• Travel extensively, potentially up to 100% of the time, within a specified coverage area.

• Foster trustworthy relationships and contribute to enhancing health outcomes.

• Engage in approximately 45-minute visits focusing on individualized health discussions.

• Review medications and assess medical histories.

• Execute physical evaluations.

• Administer additional diagnostic tests as prescribed by the health plan, including diabetic eye exams and spirometry.

• Utilize an iPad and clinical workflow for each evaluation.

• Deliver Signify Health services, encompassing Diagnostic & Preventive Services products.

• Conduct virtual visits as necessary.

• Make referrals to health plans and promote the involvement of members’ family and friends when suitable.

• Assist in ensuring that primary care physicians are informed about the members’ health and their quality of life.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside primarily in the state of Virginia.

• Hold active, unrestricted licenses in the required coverage areas.

• Capable of acquiring and maintaining multi-state licenses as necessary for coverage areas.

• Must be able to cover all counties within Virginia and adapt to other areas based on business requirements.

• Willingness to travel locally and within licensed states, up to 100% of the time.

• May necessitate overnight hotel accommodations, car rentals, and/or flights.

• Comfortable performing duties in homes that may have pets, secondhand smoke, and other potential airborne allergens or irritants.

• MD or DO qualification as explicitly stated in the required and preferred qualifications section.

• Ability to conduct virtual visits as required.
