In-Home Traveler Physician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska.

📋 Description

• Conduct health evaluations in the homes of members.

• Travel extensively, up to 100% of the time, within a specified coverage area.

• Perform visits lasting approximately 45 minutes each.

• Review patients' medications and medical histories.

• Carry out physical assessments.

• Administer additional diagnostic tests as prescribed, such as diabetic eye examinations and spirometry.

• Utilize an iPad and clinical workflows for each evaluation.

• Facilitate virtual visits as necessary.

• Offer Diagnostic & Preventive Services, which include spirometry, diabetic eye exams, and bone density screenings.

• Establish trustworthy relationships to enhance health outcomes.

• Refer members to health plans and promote the involvement of their family members.

• Ensure that primary care physicians are informed about members' health and overall quality of life.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess an active, unrestricted license(s) in the relevant coverage area(s).

• Capable of obtaining and maintaining multi-state licenses in the coverage area, as needed.

• Hold an MD or DO degree.

• Willingness to travel locally and within licensed states.

• Comfortable and capable of performing duties in homes that may have household pets, secondhand smoke, and other potential airborne allergens or irritants.
