In-Home Traveler Physician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho.

📋 Description

• Conduct in-home health assessments at members’ residences.

• Travel mainly within a designated coverage area, as per business requirements.

• Establish trusted relationships and contribute to enhancing health outcomes.

• Perform visits lasting around 45 minutes, engaging in one-on-one health discussions.

• Evaluate medications and review medical histories.

• Carry out physical examinations.

• Provide supplementary diagnostic and preventive services such as diabetic eye examinations, spirometry, and bone density screenings when requested.

• Utilize an iPad and adhere to clinical workflows for each evaluation.

• Conduct virtual consultations as necessary.

• Deliver Signify Health services and products related to Diagnostic & Preventive Services.

• Travel within local areas and licensed states.

• Assist in connecting members to suitable care and refer them to health plans.

• Ensure that primary care physicians are informed about members’ health statuses and quality of life.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of active, unrestricted licenses in the relevant coverage areas.

• Capability to acquire and uphold multi-state licenses in the necessary coverage regions, as required.

• MD or DO degree.

• Willingness to travel locally and within licensed states.

• Ability to safely perform tasks in homes with pets, secondhand smoke, and potential airborne allergens or irritants.

• Competence in conducting in-home health evaluations, which includes reviewing medications and medical histories, performing physical assessments, and conducting diagnostic tests as needed.

• Proficiency in using an iPad and following clinical workflows.

• Readiness to travel up to 100% of the time, potentially involving overnight hotel stays, car rentals, and/or flights.
