In-Home Physician – Part Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Conduct in-home health evaluations in the residences of members.

• Facilitate approximately 45-minute sessions featuring personalized health discussions.

• Examine medications and review medical histories.

• Execute physical assessments.

• Administer additional diagnostic tests as prescribed by the health plan, such as diabetic eye examinations and spirometry.

• Utilize an iPad and clinical workflow during each assessment.

• Travel nationwide to connect individuals with suitable healthcare services.

• Perform virtual consultations when necessary.

• Deliver Signify Health Diagnostic & Preventive Services, including spirometry, diabetic eye exams, and bone density screenings.

• Travel locally and within licensed states as required.

• Note that prescribing medication, ordering lab tests, or modifying existing treatment plans is not within the scope of this role.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess an active, unrestricted license in the relevant coverage areas.

• Hold an MD or DO degree.

• Willingness to travel locally and within licensed states as necessary.

• Capability to conduct virtual visits as required.

• Ability to safely and comfortably perform tasks in homes that may contain pets, secondhand smoke, and potential airborne allergens or irritants.

• Multi-state licenses are preferred.
