In-Home Hospice and Euthanasia Veterinarian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Deliver in-home hospice and euthanasia veterinary services

• Assist pet families throughout Metropolitan Pearland and Friendswood, Texas

• Engage in compassionate discussions and care regarding end-of-life options

• Travel to various pet families' residences for scheduled appointments

• Organize and manage your own schedule and calendar

• Participate in a rotational weekend coverage system

• Operate independently in the field while receiving support from scheduling, operations, and veterinary medical teams

⛳️ Requirements

• DVM, VMD, BVMS, or an equivalent degree from an accredited or qualifying program

• Active Pennsylvania veterinary license, or the ability to obtain one

• Valid U.S. driver's license and capability to travel between appointments

• Comfort in working autonomously in the field

• Empathetic and clear communication skills during end-of-life discussions

• Availability for rotational weekend shifts

• Capability to lift 50 lbs unassisted and assist with up to 100 lbs, with reasonable accommodations

• Successful background check and motor vehicle record check post-hire
