Implementation Project Manager – WMS, TMS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership and oversee multiple simultaneous WMS and TMS implementation projects from initiation to successful go-live.

• Create and uphold comprehensive project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.

• Actively manage dependencies, pinpoint risks, and eliminate obstacles.

• Ensure that implementations are completed on schedule, within the defined scope, and meet customer expectations.

• Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the implementation process.

• Lead kickoff meetings, provide status updates, and facilitate project discussions.

• Offer proactive communication regarding project advancements, timelines, risks, and deliverables.

• Establish expectations and cultivate trusted relationships with client stakeholders.

• Identify and escalate challenges promptly.

• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, task tracking, and status reports.

• Coordinate with both internal and external stakeholders to drive accountability.

• Formulate contingency plans and manage competing priorities across multiple projects.

• Collaborate with Implementation Engineers, Product teams, and other internal departments.

• Execute or coordinate system configuration, data setup, integrations, testing, and validation processes.

• Gain an understanding of ShipHawk's WMS and TMS solutions as well as customer operations.

• Assist in troubleshooting implementation issues by coordinating technical resources.

• Ensure customers are prepared for go-live.

• Enhance implementation processes, documentation, and overall customer experiences.

• Share best practices and insights gained from experiences.

• Contribute to scalable methodologies for implementation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in SaaS implementation, technical project management, or customer-facing software delivery.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex customer implementation projects simultaneously.

• Strong project management capabilities, including planning, prioritization, risk assessment, and stakeholder coordination.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong presence in customer-facing meetings.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with a proven track record of meeting deadlines and driving projects to completion.

• Comfortable engaging with technical concepts, software configurations, data workflows, and integrations.

• Self-motivated individual with a high degree of accountability, initiative, and ownership.

• Capable of quickly adapting, solving problems independently, and thriving in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

• Preferred experience in implementing Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), ERP platforms, or other supply chain technologies.

• Preferred understanding of warehouse operations, order fulfillment, inventory management, shipping, or logistics workflows.

• Preferred experience with APIs, EDI, system integrations, or data migration processes.

• Preferred familiarity with project management platforms such as Asana, Jira, Monday.com, or similar tools.

• Experience in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment is preferred.

• Preferred certifications in project management such as PMP, CSM, or other relevant qualifications.
