This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Administer and provide support for Sectra PACS environments, focusing on configuration, user management, workflow enhancement, and system oversight.
• Oversee critical results reporting workflows utilizing Primordial.
• Manage and troubleshoot PowerScribe 360, including user profiles, templates, speech recognition efficiency, and interface connections.
• Provide support for cardiology imaging applications, including CVIS, echocardiography systems, modality workstations, and structured reporting tools.
• Monitor system performance, storage usage, and data integrity across imaging platforms.
• Evaluate radiology and cardiology workflows to identify enhancements and decrease turnaround times.
• Collaborate with department leadership and technologists on modality connectivity and exam lifecycle management.
• Maintain system dictionaries, protocol configurations, and standards across the Abrazo market.
• Support DICOM configuration and troubleshoot HL7 interfaces.
• Integrate imaging systems with EMR and enterprise systems.
• Coordinate software upgrades, patches, and maintenance with vendors and internal IS teams.
• Ensure functionality of modality worklists and troubleshoot issues related to acquisition, routing, and image storage.
• Ensure imaging systems comply with regulatory and accreditation standards, including ACR, Joint Commission, and HIPAA.
• Maintain audit logs, conduct user access reviews, and enforce data retention policies.
• Participate in on-call rotations, incident response, and downtime planning.
• Provide training and assistance to radiologists, technologists, cardiologists, and clinical staff.
• Develop documentation, quick guides, and communications regarding system updates, downtime, and new features.
• Serve as a liaison between clinical teams and technical support groups for imaging-related issues.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, Imaging Science, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in imaging informatics or PACS administration within a healthcare setting.
• Practical experience with Sectra PACS.
• Practical experience with Primordial (Critical Results Management).
• Practical experience with PowerScribe 360 (PS360).
• Practical experience with cardiology imaging systems, such as CVIS, echocardiography, cath lab, and structured reporting applications.
• Strong grasp of DICOM, HL7, imaging modalities, and clinical imaging workflows.
• The selected candidate must successfully complete a Motor Vehicle Records check.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% as required.
• Preferred: experience in supporting enterprise imaging across multiple facility markets.
• Preferred: vendor certifications (Sectra, Nuance/PS360, cardiology applications).
• Preferred: knowledge of EMR integration, such as Cerner or Epic.
• Preferred: understanding of cybersecurity best practices related to imaging systems.
• Preferred: experience in project management or system implementation.
