Identity Platform Engineer – Authentication Service

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Engage with Authentication Services for Ford systems and applications catering to both internal and external user groups.

• Design, develop, and deploy new multi-factor authentication features.

• Evaluate enterprise applications, systems, and tool use cases and requirements to formulate and implement Authentication solutions.

• Deliver comprehensive DevOps support for Authentication/MFA solutions.

• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24x7 availability.

• Support the Entra ID platform and implement OAuth within the Google Cloud Platform.

• Create PowerShell-based administration scripts.

• Develop automation strategies to manage Entra ID configurations through API.

• Adhere to Agile methodologies using Jira for backlog management.

• Leverage AI tools for automation and process enhancement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

• Over 7 years of experience in IT.

• More than 5 years of experience in Security/IAM/Authentication, specifically with ADFS and Entra ID.

• At least 2 years of experience with Entra ID Application registration and SSO configuration.

• A minimum of 2 years working with MSFT Graph API.

• Over 2 years of experience in Active Directory administration.

• At least 1 year of experience implementing OAuth in a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment.

• Expertise in utilizing Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, and AIBuilder).

• Strong understanding of Active Directory and Authentication.

• Proficient coding skills are required, with hands-on experience in PowerShell scripting preferred.

• Ability to effectively communicate with employees and management at all levels.

• Highly motivated individual with robust technical skills and a strong problem-solving orientation.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail and quality.

• Solid comprehension of Security domains, particularly Identity and Access Management.

• Hands-on experience in the development and management of RESTful APIs.

• Familiarity with GitHub.
