IAM Consultant – m/f/d

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Provide guidance to clients and create concepts in the realm of Identity and Access Management (IAM), concentrating on authentication and identity verification.

• Analyze requirements, propose solution strategies, and design customized architectures, concepts, and decision-making documents.

• Evaluate current IAM setups and formulate strategies for optimization and migration.

• Facilitate expert discussions and online presentations during initial and follow-up interactions with customers.

• Offer technical project leadership for client projects.

• Bridge business and technical requirements as the liaison between technology, clients, and sales teams.

• Deliver ongoing customer support and maintain up-to-date CRM data regarding information, activities, and developments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed vocational training in IT, or possess a degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a similar qualification.

• Comprehensive understanding of IT, with the ability to articulate technical concepts appropriately for various audiences—from IT administrators to executive leadership.

• Poised and confident in customer meetings, workshops, and presentations.

• Analytical and organized approach to work, coupled with a strong sense of personal accountability.

• Exceptional communication abilities in both German and English.

• Several years of experience in consulting or a pre-sales environment, preferably in IT security, IAM, or authentication.

• Familiarity with IAM, MFA, or authentication solutions, including Yubico, HID, Swissbit, OpenText, Microsoft Entra ID, or FIDO2-based solutions.

• Microsoft SC-300 certification (Identity and Access Administrator).

• Understanding of common standards and protocols such as SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and LDAP.
