This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Establish, install, and independently carry out hydrographic and topographic survey operations for projects that adhere to safety, health, environmental, and quality standards.

• Support project managers in overseeing projects of various scales.

• Collaborate with dredging plants that require survey input.

• Manage project survey data effectively.

• Conduct necessary calibrations.

• Report findings within the company’s QA system.

• Address technical survey challenges that arise during projects.

• Mentor trainees and junior surveyors.

• Keep updated on trends and advancements in survey-related fields.

• Propose detailed enhancements to the Survey Operations Manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field such as Hydrography, Marine Geography, Marine Science, Land Survey, or a related discipline.

• Over 3 years of experience in the near and/or offshore survey industry.

• Comprehensive, experience-driven knowledge of multibeam and topographic systems.

• Proficient in using Beamworkx and/or Qinsy (QPS software).

• Familiarity with MS Office, particularly Word and Excel.

• Ability to lead data acquisition, equipment installation, and mobilizations.

• Capacity to work independently with a proactive approach.

• Possession of a full UK driving licence.

• Eligibility to work in the UK.

• Desirable: Previous experience in the mobilization of hydrographic equipment and vessels.

• Desirable: Experience within the dredging/marine construction sector.

• Desirable: Familiarity with Dredgeview software.

• Desirable: Experience with drone survey techniques (LiDAR/Photogrammetry).
