This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Establish, install, and independently carry out all hydrographic and topographic survey activities for projects adhering to safety, health, environmental, and quality standards.

• Support project managers in executing projects of various scales.

• Engage with dredging operations that require survey contributions.

• Manage project survey data effectively.

• Conduct all necessary calibrations.

• Report within the company's Quality Assurance system.

• Troubleshoot technical survey challenges during project execution.

• Oversee trainees and junior surveyors.

• Keep up-to-date with trends and advancements in survey-related fields.

• Recommend specific enhancements to the Survey Operations Manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline, such as Hydrography, Marine Geography, Marine Science, Land Surveying, or a related area.

• Over 3 years of experience in the near and/or offshore survey sector.

• Comprehensive, experience-based understanding of multibeam and topographic systems.

• Proficiency in using BeamworX and/or Qinsy (QPS software).

• Familiarity with MS Office, particularly Word and Excel.

• Ability to lead data acquisition, equipment installation, and mobilization efforts.

• Capacity to work autonomously with a proactive approach.

• Possession of a full UK driving license.

• Eligibility to work in the UK.

• Desirable: prior experience in the mobilization of hydrographic equipment and vessels.

• Desirable: experience in the dredging or marine construction industry.

• Desirable: familiarity with Dredgeview software.

• Desirable: experience in drone LiDAR/photogrammetry surveying.
