HVAC Preventive Maintenance Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with branch leadership to oversee facility maintenance projects, manage technician work orders, and coordinate preventive maintenance services.

• Provide support to senior regional facility specialists and the branch services team.

• Handle end-to-end requests from branches utilizing Freshdesk.

• Assist landlords and senior management with financial decisions regarding repairs and maintenance by obtaining vendor quotes and overseeing capital expense requests.

• Receive Freshdesk tickets and allocate them to specialists according to regional responsibilities.

• Offer additional support to senior specialists as required.

• Conduct research and utilize assigned financial approval authority to source facility vendors.

• Interpret legal lease language pertaining to facilities to identify financial obligations.

• Serve as a liaison with local, state, and federal agencies, including fire departments, building authorities, and OSHA.

• Ensure that facilities comply with OSHA and other safety regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Typically requires a BS/BA in a relevant discipline, or an MS/MA with generally 0-1 year of experience in a related field.

• Generally requires 0-2 years of experience in a related field for the BS/BA pathway.

• Certification may be necessary in certain areas.

• Strong customer service, communication, interpersonal, time management, decision-making, and effective problem-solving skills are essential.

• Ability to prioritize tasks based on business needs and urgency.

• Attention to detail is crucial.

• Intermediate proficiency in Excel is needed.

• Strong knowledge of OSHA as well as local and federal regulations related to facilities is expected.

• Typically requires overnight travel of less than 5% of the time.
