HSE Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.

📋 Description

• Develop and execute health, safety, and environmental programs for small to medium-sized clients.

• Foster a positive and proactive culture while ensuring compliance.

• Establish and assess playbooks and procedures.

• Promote consistency and efficiency in HSE initiatives.

• Oversee initiatives related to regulatory, legal, and compliance requirements.

• Monitor operational and safety risks.

• Create and manage strategic risk management strategies.

• Track injury, illness, and incident reports.

• Suggest measures to mitigate risks.

• Ensure HSE regulatory compliance within the account.

• Collaborate with management to develop strategic compliance solutions.

• Recognize potential concerns with stakeholders.

• Report findings, concerns, and deficiencies to the responsible functional managers.

• Exemplify and embody CBRE RISE values.

• Persuade parties with shared interests to come to an agreement.

• Utilize specialized knowledge to meet team and departmental goals.

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve everyday and moderately complex issues.

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 4-6 years of relevant experience.

• A combination of experience and education will be accepted in lieu of a degree.

• Additional certifications as mandated by local authorities.

• Ability to facilitate the exchange of sensitive, complex, and challenging information.

• Capability to communicate performance expectations and address issues effectively.

• Leadership abilities to inspire team contributions to quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Google Suite and Smartsheet.
