This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee comprehensive project management for the implementation of the Workday HRIS.
• Direct the planning, execution, testing, deployment, post-implementation, cutover, go-live readiness, and stabilization efforts.
• Create and uphold project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Set up project governance, meeting schedules, status reporting, and escalation procedures.
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, IT, Finance, and business stakeholders to determine requirements, priorities, and objectives.
• Coordinate internal teams, Workday implementation partners, vendors, and project stakeholders.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
• Facilitate meetings and working sessions, tracking action items, owners, and deadlines.
• Monitor progress and provide updates to leadership and stakeholders.
• Identify risks and obstacles, developing mitigation and contingency plans.
• Assist in designing business processes aligned with Workday capabilities.
• Oversee data migration, integrations, configuration, testing, and implementation workstreams.
• Lead or coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including planning, execution, issue tracking, and resolution.
• Support organizational readiness, communications, training, and change management efforts.
• Maintain project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Promote accountability across workstreams and enhance HR processes to optimize HRIS value.
• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience leading intricate, cross-functional initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience in leading HRIS implementations, particularly Workday.
• Proven ability to manage the entire implementation lifecycle: planning, requirements gathering, design, testing, deployment, go-live, and post-implementation stabilization.
• Strong grasp of HR processes and HR technology environments.
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with HR, Payroll, IT, Finance, and business stakeholders.
• Familiarity with coordinating data migration, system integrations, configuration, testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Experience managing vendors, implementation partners, and third-party resources.
• Excellent project planning, organization, prioritization, problem-solving, and risk management abilities.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for technical and executive audiences.
• Capability to manage multiple workstreams, competing priorities, dependencies, and deadlines.
• Experience aiding organizational change management, communications, training, and readiness activities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Office 365 and project management tools.
• Experience with various Workday modules such as HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, Time Tracking, or Absence is preferred.
• Familiarity with HR technology integrations and complex data migration projects is preferred.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Information Systems, Project Management, or a related field is preferred.
• PMP, Prosci, Workday, or other relevant project/change management certifications are preferred.
• Must have authorization to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship or transfers.
