HR Systems Analyst – Workday Payroll

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +17 more states.

📋 Description

• Serve as a technical expert for HR Systems from Recruitment through Payroll.

• Ensure the performance and reliability of HR Systems.

• Address user issues and escalate them as necessary.

• Collaborate with functional experts to establish user requirements and pinpoint opportunities for system or process enhancements.

• Advise users on technological changes that affect work processes.

• Suggest system improvements and innovative methods to enhance efficiency in HR and Payroll.

• Oversee daily HR System operations, which include business process functionality, data validation, content/data migration, integrations, conditional rules, reporting, new releases, and end-user support.

• Generate HR Systems reports, including calculated fields, ensuring the output is meaningful and actionable.

• Confirm and test report structures to maintain information security.

• Arrange report delivery and document report specifications and usage.

• Create dashboards for assessing management organizational performance.

• Enhance implemented HR Systems in line with HR business requirements.

• Utilize knowledge of new releases to adjust system configurations.

• Complete data-flow tools and process mapping and present recommendations to HR Management.

• Educate HR and Payroll team members on the usage of HR systems and Microsoft Applications.

• Document user procedures and develop articles.

• Participate in HR System conferences and external networks to discover best practices and share insights with HR Leadership.


⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of technical system experience focusing on system performance, data integrity, and complex reporting.

• Proficiency in Workday is essential, including knowledge of the latest technology and product offerings.

• Exceptional customer service skills along with strong verbal and written communication abilities.

• Ability to work independently and demonstrate proactive curiosity.

• Advanced experience with Microsoft Office products is required.

• A Bachelor’s Degree is mandatory.

• Preferred degree fields include Computer Science, Information Services, Business, or Quantitative Methods.
