This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Montana.
• Execute data entry tasks utilizing word processing, spreadsheets, database commands, and specified formats.
• Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of employee data within HRIS systems such as ADP, Costpoint, or similar platforms.
• Receive, validate, update, and audit data within HR systems.
• Identify and rectify data discrepancies while escalating systemic issues as necessary.
• Assign employee identification numbers following the completion of onboarding and submit accurate notifications for new hires.
• Review onboarding documentation for accuracy and proper file organization.
• Develop, maintain, and implement standardized work processes.
• Support record management and retention protocols for compliance, personnel, and talent management documentation.
• Respond to standard employee record requests in accordance with approved guidelines.
• Schedule interviews and maintain records for candidates.
• Update applicant tracking system records and manage candidate pipelines.
• Conduct initial phone screenings for candidates using standardized criteria.
• Initiate the onboarding process post-offer acceptance, including necessary background checks or drug screenings.
• Follow up on results from background checks and drug screenings.
• Conduct reference checks for selected candidates.
• Assist in compliance processing, workforce metrics reporting, HR initiatives, projects, data tracking, and reporting.
• Securely manage confidential employee information in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
• At least two (2) years of experience in data entry support.
• Proficient in Adobe Suite, Outlook, Excel, and Microsoft Word.
• Two (2) years of human resources support experience is strongly preferred.
• A valid and unencumbered driver's license is required if driving is part of the job responsibilities.
• Strong expertise in Excel, including working with formulas, macros, and pivot tables.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
• Capability to quickly re-prioritize and manage competing tasks.
• Compliance with established standards and processes is essential.
• Willingness to adapt and learn new skills and technologies.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and balance various projects and deadlines.
• Maintain confidentiality and discretion when dealing with sensitive information.
• Foundational knowledge of HR best practices and key HR concepts.
