HR Data & Automation Engineer – Project Based

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assess existing employee and HR data sources to pinpoint duplication, inconsistencies, and gaps.

• Establish a standardized structure for employee master data and define the necessary fields.

• Compile and reconcile historical leave records from Time Clock Wizard, spreadsheets, and chat histories into a validated master baseline.

• Create and automate a future-state leave request, approval, and balance-tracking workflow utilizing Google Forms/Workspace or a more robust proposed alternative.

• Set up ownership, validation rules, role-based access permissions, and audit trails.

• Document processes for ongoing maintenance and potential replication in additional country branches.

• Independently execute the full fixed-scope project, coordinating with IT and management as needed.

• Provide a Request for Quotation (RFQ) detailing the proposed approach, timeline, hours, and costs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient data reconciliation and cleaning abilities across complex, multi-source datasets.

• Experience with HRIS or employee data management.

• Familiarity with Google Workspace automation, including Forms, Sheets, and notifications.

• Capability to design access controls and audit trails for sensitive HR information.

• Experience with HR system-to-system synchronization (preferred).

• Background in scaling workflows across multiple countries or branches (preferred).

• A portfolio showcasing relevant, comparable work.

• An RFQ that outlines the proposed work, methodology, inclusions and exclusions, estimated timeline and hours, total cost, along with any additional or recurring expenses, required inputs, risks, limitations, and assumptions.

• Readiness to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and Project Agreement prior to receiving complete project details and credentials.

• Willingness to undergo a background check.
