This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist scientific researchers and students with intricate data workflows

• Troubleshoot application performance and enhance research workflows

• Provide support to researchers and students on complex University operating systems, including software installation, maintenance, and hardware assistance

• Work in partnership with engineers and developers to pinpoint complex system data, hardware, or software elements

• Conduct detailed security analyses of computing systems to guarantee data protection

• Create multiple intricate project plans to deliver prompt and precise technical support to research end-users

• Engage in project development and research initiatives

• Carry out additional tasks as assigned


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or a combination of education and/or experience can substitute for minimum educational qualifications

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in a High Performance Computing Environment

• Familiarity with infrastructure deployment

• Experience in software development

• Proficient in statistical software packages

• Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving abilities

• Experience with the Linux command line

• Programming skills in a modern language such as R, Python, or C++

• No specific certification or professional license is necessary

• A driver's license is not a requirement
