Housing Officer – Damp and Mould

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Provide outstanding frontline housing management services to clients.

• Address intricate customer inquiries and offer clear solutions along with actionable next steps.

• Assist customers dealing with safeguarding issues, domestic violence, financial difficulties, and other complex needs.

• Establish trust and confidence through empathetic and effective communication.

• Work in conjunction with internal teams and external organizations to achieve favorable outcomes.

• Encourage and facilitate the use of digital services and innovative solutions.

• Leverage customer feedback, data, and insights to pinpoint opportunities for service enhancement.

• Take ownership of customer journeys, ensuring they feel heard, respected, and valued.

• Handle a diverse caseload while fostering relationships with customers, colleagues, and external partners.

• Proven experience in a customer-facing position.

• Background in managing safeguarding issues and supporting vulnerable individuals.

• Exceptional communication, influencing, and negotiation abilities.

• Capability to build productive relationships with various stakeholders and partners.

• Familiarity with digital systems and a willingness to adopt new working methods.

• Dedication to continuous improvement, innovation, and delivering cost-effective solutions.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and a capacity to think creatively beyond established processes to find appropriate solutions for customers.

• Successful completion of a Disclosure and Barring Service Check, if required.

• Positive references.

• Valid Right to Work documentation.

• May necessitate specific qualifications, skills, knowledge, and behaviors to meet the Competence and Conduct Standard for Social Housing.
